Meet Our Staff

Fr. Rocco Porter

Pastor

+ About Fr. Rocco

I was ordained a deacon for Archdiocese of Denver on May 31st, 1996 and ordained a priest on May 31st, 1997. Before that, I attended Conception Seminary College for undergrad from 1988-1991, went to St. Thomas Seminary in Denver from 1991-1993, then received my Masters of Divinity from Mundelein Seminary in Illinois. My first assignment was at Queen of Peace in Aurora where I served for four years. Then I was assigned as pastor at St Peter's in Greeley from 2001 to 2011. I did campus ministry at UNC. I was then assigned to St. John XXIII in Fort Collins in 2011 and served there until 2022. I was pastor and did campus ministry for CSU during that time. I was assigned to Christ the King in August 2022 and am happy to serve the community here as pastor.

Kili Hady

School Principal

+ About Kili

Coming to Christ the King is a bit of a homecoming for Mrs. Hady; ten aunts and uncles attended school at CK in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Her dad graduated in the class of 1968 and her grandfather built the rectory. She attended Mass here with her family as a child, and she is exceedingly proud to continue her family legacy as the leader of the school.    Mrs. Hady attended Saint Mary College in Leavenworth, Kansas, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Sociology and Political Science. Soon after college, she returned to Colorado to be with family and earned her Master’s in Elementary Education and eventually a second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
With a career that has led her through classrooms and administration offices of both public and Catholic schools, Mrs. Hady has observed a notable difference between the two: Love. Love is palpable in the classrooms, courtyards, and hallways of a Catholic school. Catholic educators possess an intrinsic motivation to truly connect, inspire, and educate the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.
Mrs. Hady and her husband are boastful fourth-generation Colorado natives and proud parents of two beautiful daughters. They love to frequent Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain where they swim, boat, hike, camp, and lounge through the summer; and snowmobile, play basketball and occasionally whine about the lack of sunlight in the winter.

Gwyn Duke

Business Manager

+ About Gwyn

gduke@ChristTheKingDenver.org

Greetings. Gwyn Duke here born and raised in Alabama. After becoming Catholic back in 1987, I have joyfully served the Church most of my adult life in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and in the past 20 years in the Archdiocese of Denver. I was given the opportunity to be the pastoral assistant at Our Lady of the Mountains in Estes Park and now at Christ the King. I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading and adventure. I am grateful to be here, in this vibrant parish family and look forward to sharing the peace and truth of the Faith with each of you as we meet.

Roberta Marsh

Faith Formation Director

+ About Roberta

rmarsh@ChristTheKingDenver.org

Roberta Marsh, our Faith Formation Director, comes to us from a wide range of experiences working primarily in parishes in the area of religious education. Her love for the Catechism, family-based faith formation, and evangelization, brings a depth of knowledge and a passion for helping parents understand and live out their role as the primary educators of their children in the Faith, and to help them build up a Catholic culture in the home where Christ is known and loved above all things. Colorado has been her home since the early 1980’s with her husband, Dana and son, Paul.

Roberta loves to go cycling in Cherry Creek State Park, take an occasional hike in the mountains, and listen to great music.

+ About John

jprager@ChristTheKingDenver.org

John Prager is a Colorado native. He began his duties at Christ the King as Music Director in 2020. John grew up playing music, focusing on piano but also saxophone, bass guitar, and voice. He received an MM in Piano Performance from the University of Denver Lamont School of Music. John enjoys exploring the vast body of music written for the Catholic Church and bringing it to the parishioners of Christ the King every Sunday. He currently leads the 10AM Adult Choir and the Children’s Choir.

Marybeth Page

Pastoral Assistant

+ About Marybeth

mbpage@ChristTheKingDenver.org

Marybeth Page was born and raised on the East Coast but landed in Colorado and couldn’t be more grateful. Marybeth didn’t find her purpose until stumbling upon a beautiful picture of Our Lady in St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna. This led to pursuing a degree in Theology, which led to working for the Church. She has worked for Catholic Charities USA, for a national Catholic pro-life organization, for the Metropolitan Tribunal and as a Catholic school Theology teacher.

Heidi Dignan

School Administrative Assistant

+ About Heidi

hdignan@ckrcs.org

Heidi is a Denver native—in fact, she grew up just four blocks away from Christ the King! Before graduating from Arizona State University, she spent her junior year at the University of Salzburg (her favorite year in college). After college, she worked in sales for Nestle Food Service before she and her husband started their family. Many years and two grown daughters later, Heidi still loves her job at CK. When she’s not at Christ the King, you’ll find her enjoying the mountains, playing golf or pickleball, and spending time with family and friends.

She loves the Colorado mountains for hiking and biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. But really, her favorite activity is traveling the world.

She is so grateful to be a part of this amazing CK community. She loves her peers, parents and of course, the children who all make her job the best.
